    The Health Protection Society aims to promote high quality CPD readily accessible to all with an interest in health protection at minimal cost.  We run regular regional CPD events, an online CPD program on this website with MCQ questions and "difficult scenarios" on topics of current interest, and the facilities to share teaching slides, incidents and outbreaks of general interest and to start web based discussion groups.

    As a result of the vote on changes to the constitution there will be one category of membership for all with a professional interest in health protection and the name of the society will change to "Health Protection Society" from 1st April 2015.
